AI Agents on WhatsApp.
We bring the power of AI to the channel where your customers and team already are. Possition's AI agents on WhatsApp do not only answer inquiries: they take actions, log orders, and look up information in real time, securely.
What this service covers
What can be automated on WhatsApp
- Automatic replies to frequent questions.
- Initial attention with AI.
- Follow-up of customers and pending conversations.
- Reminders for appointments, due dates, and payments.
- Status notifications: orders, requests, deliveries.
- Sending requested information: catalogs, quotes, documentation.
Integration with your systems
Each conversation can be logged in your CRM with its history, and the assistant can reply with real information from your internal systems: order status, account balance, appointment availability.
Handoff to operators
Conversations that need a person are handed off with the full context. The team sees the history and continues the conversation without the customer repeating anything.
Responsible use of the channel
- We work on the official WhatsApp Business API.
- Messages are sent to contacts who gave their consent.
- We respect the platform's template and conversation-window rules.
- We do not implement indiscriminate mass sending or practices that put your number at risk.
The WhatsApp Business app, the official API, and an AI agent: how they differ
The free WhatsApp Business app isn't the same as the official API, and the API on its own isn't an AI agent either. They're three different levels, and mixing them up is the most common cause of mismatched expectations.
| Criterion | WhatsApp Business app | Official WhatsApp Business API | + AI agent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Built for | A shop or professional handling chats by hand | Integrating WhatsApp with systems and automating sends | Automating the full conversation, with judgment |
| Requires Meta approval | No | Yes | Yes (uses the same API) |
| Automatic replies | Limited: away and greeting messages | Yes, with approved templates | Yes, and it also decides what to answer |
| Integrates with CRM or internal systems | No | Yes, with custom development | Yes |
| Understands natural language | No | Not on its own | Yes |
| Who it's for | Small businesses, one-to-one attention | Companies already automating sends | Companies seeking conversational support at scale |
Migrating from the app to the official API is the mandatory first step before adding an AI agent — we assess this in the initial diagnosis if you're still on the app.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send messages to any contact list?
No. WhatsApp requires prior consent from the contact and the use of approved templates for messages initiated by the company. We design the flows within those rules to protect your number and your brand.
Can automatic and human attention be combined?
Yes, that is the recommended setup: the assistant resolves what is frequent and hands off to operators what requires judgment, with the full conversation history.
Do I need a new number?
Work is done with a number verified on the official WhatsApp Business API. If you already use WhatsApp Business, we assess migration in the diagnosis.
Does it work if I already have my own CRM?
Yes. It integrates via API with whatever CRM you already use; how deep that integration goes is defined in the initial diagnosis.
How long does it take to implement?
An assistant limited to answers and follow-up can be operational in a few weeks. If it integrates internal systems or logs orders, the project has more stages.
What happens if a customer writes outside business hours?
The agent responds right away within what's defined. Anything that needs a person gets logged and picked up during business hours, letting the customer know.
Can the agent take an order, or only answer questions?
It can log orders and move sales follow-up forward. If you want final confirmation to go through a person, that's defined from the design stage.
